Concerned by the disappearance of their family, Coop and Henry summon a being named Mercendius who can travel between dimensions. Unfortunately for them, Mercendius is insane and easily offended. So instead of helping them, he decides to attack their loved ones. As a last resort, they run to Prue at The Nexus of the All.
